Science Homework 2

The body of ours is amazing it helps us walk/talk/eat & meet people all around us. The heart gives life the brain gives movement & thought. Here are the basics

BRAIN

Like a computer, the brain solves problems & mathmatics, & like pac man it tells you what to do.  Also, just like muscles and organs, the brain uses oxygen & blood. It sends messages through your spinal cord & through chemical messengers living in you.

Your body has more though.......

THE HEART

The heart also uses oxegen & blood.  The heart is a very important organ it pumps blood through the body. Blood cells carry heamoglobin, which carries oxygen around the body, including the brain, back to the heart. The heart pumps very fast when exercising. The muscles and organs are using much more oxygen when we run or have to do anything physically difficult.

Now, just one more organ to go....!

THE LUNGS

The lungs are important, for their job is to help bring in oxygen & pass CO2 out of the body. The lungs expand and fill up with a gas, namely oxygen. The lungs are designed with bronchioles and alveioli. These are the structures where  CO2 is passed out of red blood cells and oxygen in taken in. Fortunately, CO2 is what trees & flowers need. They 'breathe' it in and breathe out oxygen........

Now for the bones in the body...!

BONES

Bones are for holding you up. Bones are like really hard modrock - [a material that is fairly thin when wet and dried it is very hard] . Bones protect vital organs like the heart, lung, brain, intestines & stomache. All skeletons have a tail bone. Humans do, ours is smaller than animals it's called the coccyx. it's at the end of your spine.

NOW IT'S TIME FOR THE NAMES OF THE BONES.......... ?!

THE HUMAN LAYERS

The human body isn't just organs, muscles and bone. skin has a number of uses. For one thing, it keps all our organs, muscles & bones together. Skin may look thin but its actually, it is very thick it holds nerves for the feelings
